Our products are designed to be worn 24/7. Most wearers find better results while using them during their sleep. Magnetic therapy can lead to better sleep cycles and restful sleep. There is no downside to using these products while sleeping.
For certain! All our products are designed to be used 24/7 and you can't overuse magnet therapy products. Most wearers will wear their products as much as possible to achieve better results.
Strong magnetic and electromagnetic fields can affect your pacemaker and we advise to not wear or use any of our products near your pacemaker.

Magnet therapy should be avoided if you have metal implants in the affected area, as the magnets may interact with the metal even though most implants now are titanium which don't contain any ferrous materials it's still best to be careful on the surrounding areas.

For the best results, place the magnets close to the area of discomfort or pain. We do offer a lot of products which are specifically designed for certain body parts, such as the back, knees, or wrists, to maximize effectiveness and comfort.
Children can use magnet therapy products, but it’s important to consult your GP or medical professional before starting treatment, especially for younger children. We always recommend that supervision is undertaken to ensure safe use as some of the magnets can be very small.
Most people do not experience side effects from using magnet therapy. In extremely rare cases, some users may experience skin irritation or discomfort but this may be more down to the material housing the magnets and not the magnets themselves.

All our products are made from neodymium material which are known to be "permanent magnets" and they have an incredibly long shelf life and reports have shown that they only lose 5% of their magnetism over 100+ years.
Of course like all magnets overtime they will lose effectiveness however it will be an extremely slow natural process.

It's the same when using magnets on the body the depth of penetration and relaxation of tissue will depend on he strength and quality of the magnet. Always ask the company concerned what is the type and strength (gauss) of magnet they are using. Also make sure of the depth of penetration through bone and tissue they are claiming for their product. It does matter. All magnets are not equal.
It is unlikely in our experience. A wristband will help the tissue in the direct area in which it is placed. It will also have the beneficial effect on the blood as it circulates. Perhaps over a period of week/months as it helps flush out the waste deposits in the blood it may result in some benefits, but why wait that long? In placing magnets of sufficient power to the area concerned the relief should be seen within hours. The benefits to the system and detoxification effects remain the same.
If the injury is a temporary condition, e.g. a torn muscle or sports strain, a 'serious' magnet will significantly speed recovery time. If the condition is a permanent one such as osteo-arthritis then the relief can be as and when the magnet is in place or in some cases maintained for several days or weeks. The pad can be then re-applied.
PRODUCT CARE
We wouldn't recommend leaving any of our magnetic therapy products on while exposing yourself to water. It's best to take these off before you shower or swim.
We don't recommend putting any of our products in a washing machine and exposing them to large amounts of water for a long period of time.
The best way would be to hand wash your Norstar Biomagnetic products making sure they aren't submerged underwater for too long.
Storing them is relatively simple. We recommend storing them in a dry place away from high temperatures and any electric currents (don't store next to electronic devices.)
